Job Description
- Plan and schedule container pick-ups and deliveries based on customer requirements and operational capacity.
- Assign tasks to drivers ensuring efficient utilization of fleet resources.
- Monitor routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery and pickup.
- Oversee the daily dispatch and movement of haulage vehicles.
- Assist to track vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Liaise with internal teams, e.g. customer service (forwarding) dept. to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain clear communications with drivers regarding job assignments and operational updates.
- Address operational issues, such as delays, vehicle breakdowns or scheduling conflicts.
- Ensure all haulage activities comply with relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum diploma holder or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in haulage, transportation or logistics operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skill.
- Familiarity with haulage operations, container management and port procedures will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend jobs
