Role Summary:
The Assistant Teacher supports the classroom teacher in ensuring a conducive learning environment for students. This role involves assisting in lesson delivery, managing student behavior, and handling administrative tasks. The Assistant Teacher acts as a backup during the teacher's absence and helps maintain classroom operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Management:

• Assist in arranging students during activities, assemblies, and transitions.
• Supervise students during breaks, meals, and other non-classroom activities.

Classroom Support:

• Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Support lesson delivery by guiding individual or small groups of students as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with monitoring student progress and reporting observations to the teacher

Covering Duties:

• Act as a substitute during the teacher’s absence, ensuring minimal disruption to the class schedule.
• Take over daily routines, such as conducting lessons or managing activities, under the guidance of the lead teacher or school management.

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain attendance records and update daily logs.
• Assist in organizing classroom displays, arranging furniture, and tidying up after activities.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth execution of school programs and events.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues as required.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
• Ability to handle basic classroom management.
• Experience in childcare or education is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
