Description :

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the base, including logistics, warehousing, transportation, and agency activities.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation (manpower, equipment, storage) and operational readiness of the base.
  • Monitor the maintenance and security of base facilities and equipment.
  • To deliver services to our clients pertaining to your areas of expertise or further afield as opportunities dictate.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, manage contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the region and implement regional marketing plans to promote business awareness and drive customer engagement. Provide direction and coaching to develop Logistics and Supply Chain team members and contribute to the overall functioning of the Business Group.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships to support the growth of logistics and supply chain opportunities throughout the region and support the delivery of new and existing client opportunities.
  • Be familiar with customs and statutory requirements in location of operations. Ensure compliance with regulations and coordinate the timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Oversee the logistics and distribution network to optimize efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Support the COMPANYS’ logistics and supply chain practice so that we meet COMPANYS’ overall objectives in terms of financial performance, risk management and strategic development having regard to COMPANYS’ core values.
  • Responsible for maintaining a record of all outstanding purchase orders with external vendors. Follow up & track, customer purchase order and COMPANYS’ invoice are paid.
  • Arrange transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule.
  • Design and develop standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently.
  • Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems.
  • Handling orders, making negotiations, follow up deliveries, prepare delivery documents.
  • Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of logistic activities and team’s performance.
  • Responds to routine internal and customer inquiries on delivery times and the status of shipments and orders so that inquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports. Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
  • Effective and efficient coordination with other branches and departments.
  • Ensure that the inbound and outbound movement of goods are executed smoothly, quickly, and accurately.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics
  • 5 years' experience in customer service or logistics management
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations requirements
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, committed, and flexible with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-national and multi-cultural work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be fully committed to safety.
  • Must be able to perform all duties, tasks, and key responsibilities safely.
  • Must be able to comply with COMPANY procedures.
  • Must have good management qualities and ability to cooperate with the team.
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 per month
